Tell us what you have got and what you want it to become. The form is the fastest route — it reaches us with the detail we need to give you a useful answer rather than a guess.

No obligation attaches to an enquiry or to an estimate. If the honest answer is that your deck needs repairing rather than replacing, or that what you want will not work on your lot, that is what you will be told.

Six fields. The last one does most of the work — the more you put in it, the more useful our first reply will be.

Useful things to include: roughly how big, whether the deck is new or already there, how high off the ground it sits, what the ground is like, which city or area the property is in, and when you would like to be using it. If it is an existing deck, photos of the underside and of where it meets the house tell us more than anything you can write.
We use what you send here only to answer your enquiry. It is not sold, shared or added to a marketing list. See our privacy policy.

What happens after you get in touch

No stage commits you to anything.

We read it and reply

Your message reaches us with whatever detail you gave. If photos would settle a question quickly, we will ask for the specific shot we need rather than a general album.

We arrange a walkthrough

On site, looking at the ground, the wall, the drainage, the access and the aspect. This is where the constraints get found, and it is the most useful half-hour in the whole project.

You get a plan and a number

Dimensions, materials in plain language, and a breakdown of where the cost sits. You are free to take it away, think about it, or use it to compare.

Helpful detail

Things worth including in your message

None of these are required. Each one saves a round trip.

  • Which city or area the property is in
  • Whether the deck is new or already there
  • Roughly how big you are thinking
  • How high off the ground it will sit
  • Whether it attaches to the house or stands alone
  • What the ground is like — rock, clay, slope, fill
  • Whether an HOA reviews exterior changes
  • Roughly when you would like to be using it
For an existing deck, two photos beat two paragraphs: one of the underside showing the joists and posts, and one of the point where the deck meets the house. That second one is where almost every serious deck problem begins.

Not sure which service you need?

That is a normal place to start. Describe the symptom — bounce, splinters, a rail that moves, a back door that opens onto nothing — and working out the rest is our job.

Questions

Frequently asked questions

Do you have a phone number?

Not published on this site yet. Everything routes through the form for now, which means your enquiry arrives with the detail attached rather than being scribbled down mid-call.

If you would rather talk, say so in the message and leave a number in the phone field, and a call can be arranged.

How quickly will I hear back?

We are not going to promise you a number of hours on a web page, because a promise like that is worth nothing and gets broken by a bad week. What we can say is that enquiries are answered in the order they arrive.

If your deck is unsafe rather than untidy — movement away from the house, a guardrail that gives when leaned on — say so at the top of your message and stop using the deck in the meantime.

Do you charge for an estimate?

The walkthrough and the estimate that follows carry no obligation. If a project needs engineered drawings or a formal design before it can be priced accurately, that is chargeable work and we will tell you before it starts rather than after.

What areas do you cover?

Sparks and Reno at the core, plus twenty-five surrounding areas across Washoe, Storey and Lyon counties — from Verdi in the west to Fernley in the east, and from Cold Springs in the north up to Incline Village in the Tahoe Basin.

The service areas page lists them all. If you are just outside, ask anyway.

Can you work with my HOA?

Yes, and in ArrowCreek, Somersett, Montreux, Damonte Ranch and St. James Village it is usually part of the job. Architectural review runs alongside the building permit rather than instead of it, and the two have different requirements and different timelines.

Tell us at the start if your property has design review. It affects material choices, railing style and colour, and it is much easier to design around than to retrofit.

Next step

One form, and then a real conversation

The more you can tell us now, the more useful the first reply will be. Photos of an existing deck are worth more than anything you can type.

No obligation. Every estimate starts with a walkthrough of the site and a straight conversation about what the ground, the span and the budget will allow.
